Rep. Devin Nunes Calls Colbert Memo Sketch a Danger in the Country

Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA) called Stephen Colberts jokes about him on a sketch for The Late Show a danger. This is the danger that we have in this country, Nunes told Fox News Neil Cavuto on Saturday when asked about the jokes. The left controls not only the universities in this country, but they also control Hollywood in this country, and the mainstream media, so conservatives in this country are under attack… they attack people who are trying to get to the truth. Colbert went around Capitol Hill poking lawmakers for insight into the Trump-Russia investigation and produced his own spoof memo stating that Devon Nunes is a [redacted]. The comedian also asked Sen. Mark Warner (D-VA), the ranking Democrat on the Senate Intelligence Committee, if he was jealous that his House counterpart Rep. Adam Schiff (D-CA) is tasked to work with Nunes, to which Warner cracked a smile. The sketch was a reaction to the G.O.P-produced House intel memo alleging the FBI abused its surveillance authority to spy on the Trump campaign.
